The Morrilton area is home to three great lakes of Arkansas, which offer visitors a selection of outdoor activities.
Lake Overcup, situated mere minutes from Morrilton, Arkansas, off either AR Hwy 95 (exit 107 off ofI-40) or AR Highway 9 (exit 108 off of I-40), is one of the most popular crappie fishing spots in the region. The median crappie caught from this 1025-acre lake is 11 oz, but greater crappie have been taken. The daily limit for crappie is twenty.
